Questions

What do I need?

A working alarm system with no faults and your alarm codes and a photo of your alarm keypad - so we know what we are working with.

How long does it take to setup?

With a working alarm, no longer than 1 hour.

What if I don't know my alarm codes?

No problem, we can typically reset and reprogram your alarm. Please note this will take more time and cost extra.

How do I get billed for monitoring?

We can take credit card payment online, or set up a direct debit payment for a 50% discount on your first month.

What happens in the case of a false alarm?

In most cases your custom alert plan will have us call you first, if you have a plan where we call a security guard first, please contact us quickly to advise of the false alarm, and save yourself a guard callout fee.

What if I don't have an alarm or you can't connect to my alarm?

We can provide alternative solutions, our parent company Urban Security has been installing and servicing alarms since 2010.

*For the small percentage of alarms that can't connect to our monitoring station, this is usually due to an issue with the alarm. In such cases, we will revise our installation cost and provide a solution

Is my alarm still monitored if there's a power cut?

Yes, we only use a 4G module which connects to your alarms backup battery. The 4G connection is cellular so it doesn't need to run through your internet connection.

It's recommended your backup battery is replaced every 24-36 months. Whilst onsite we'll carry out a battery health check and advise if it needs replacing

What is alarm monitoring?

Alarm monitoring provides peace of mind by keeping an eye on your alarm system around the clock. If something triggers your alarm, like a break in or a fire, our monitoring team is alerted and will follow your alert plan through to the end
